The Winner of our May photo competition ( albeit in April)

Well no one can say he does not take his job serious - which is a good thing as I am leaving him here alone with my business for 3 weeks.

He really had a good look at each and every photo multiple times and also read the story behind them all and came to his choice.  He was tossing up between 3 of them and finally decided on the winner.

Congratulation's Melissa from Honey Bee Photography.

The Judge said that the spirt of the words with the photo is what he thinks made it a winner.  Here is what she wrote.

"I would like to enter this photo of my daughter, Sarah, who walked in her first Anzac day march with her school on Wednesday. She is wearing the miniature set of my Grandpa’s medals who was a navigator in WW2. He was sent to war right after marrying my Nanna, but then came home to pop out 5 kids (just as well as I wouldn’t be here!!).

When I took this photo of Sarah, she said “Wait, Mummy, I have to take off my hat and salute the soldiers who fought for our freedom”. Hence to say I was very proud that she had listened to her teacher and myself when she asked about the meaning of Anzac Day. From Melissa from

Send me your postal address Melissa and which necklace you ll choose and it will be on a silver chain and if you can do it in the next day that would be great.  You are now in the yearly draw for a big prize from us here at Camera Chick.

Just so you know that the judge was very qualified to judge this competition being a Navy veteran of 22 years.  This was taken last Anzac day before all my boys marched in the parade.

Thanks to everyone for entering and Ill think of something very creative for June.
